QBCC Managerial Course
This course is a requirement if you are applying for:
a Trade Contractor licence
a QBCC Nominee Supervisor licence
an electrical contractor's licence from the Electrical Safety Office (ESO) or are required to become a Qualified Business Person (QBP)
Commonly referred to as the QBCC Managerial Course, this program is designed to give you the practical knowledge and skills you need to successfully navigate the legal and regulatory responsibilities of running a small business. From understanding contracts and insurance to managing intellectual property and workplace health and safety, you'll build strong legal foundations and learn how to manage risk effectively from day one.

The course is delivered online and will consist of theory modules as well as short online assessments. You'll be assigned a dedicated trainer/assessor for support if required for the duration of your course.
Our online course has been purpose-built to prepare you for real-life business challenges. With engaging content and practical, relatable scenarios, you’ll gain skills you can apply straight away. Study at your own pace, on your own schedule. You will be required to complete an online quiz plus an online practical assessment.
Whether you're balancing work, family, or other commitments, this flexible format lets you learn when and where it suits you. You'll have 90 days from enrolment to complete the course, with the duration depending on your experience and how much time you dedicate to your studies.

A clear copy of your drivers licence or photo identification.

Sufficient level of language, literacy and numeracy (LLN);
