Live LV Panel Rescue Skills
Follow workplace procedures for electrical safety, isolation, and emergency response
Identify electrical hazards and assess the risks associated with live LV panels
Safely perform a rescue from a live LV panel using the correct equipment

The knowledge and skills you learn will be tested under pressure to ensure you are prepared to handle emergencies in the workplace, at home, or in the community. This course is delivered in line with first aid guidelines from the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other national peak clinical bodies.
How Often Should You Renew Your Live LV Panel and CPR Training?
Regular refresher courses keep your skills sharp and ensure you’re following the latest life-saving guidelines. According to the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and Safe Work Australia, refresher training for these courses should be completed as follows:
CPR Refresher - Annually (some workplaces, particularly in high-risk industries, may require more frequent CPR updates. Check with your employer to confirm the specific renewal requirements).
Live LV Panel Refresher - Annually (recommended)
In order to provide you with the best learning outcomes possible, this course is delivered via a mix of online learning and face-to-face training. You will be assigned an experienced Trainer Assessor for support throughout your course.
The online modules are self-paced and include quizzes, written tasks, and scenario-based exercises to test your knowledge.
Your trainer will give you practical tasks to complete based on the information you’ve learned in your online theory module.
You will need to pass both steps in order to successfully complete the course.

They will provide you with the guidance and support you need to fully understand the course material, as well as offer suggestions for further learning opportunities.
Eligible workers, employers and career seekers in Queensland’s building and construction industry can save up to 75-100% on courses, including short courses, units of competency, or Certificate and Diploma qualifications. While CSQ provides substantial funding, a student co-contribution fee is typically required. Check your eligiblity or contact us for more information.
