The G7 - RIIWHS601E Establish and Maintain the WHS Management System course is designed for safety leaders and managers who are responsible for developing, implementing, and improving workplace health and safety systems. You can choose to complete the course either online or face-to-face at one of our training facilities.
Through the student learner portal, you’ll access interactive modules, videos, and real-world scenarios that bring the content to life. Assessment is competency-based and includes:

There are no formal entry requirements to enrol in this course; however students should have:
basic computer skills and access to the internet
sufficient language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills to complete assessments, and;
A valid Unique Student Identifier (USI) - mandatory for all nationally recognised training. If you don't already have a USI, you can apply for one online at www.usi.gov.au or we can apply for one for you.

The cost of the G7 - RIIWHS601E Establish and Maintain the WHS Management System course varies by study option. The self-paced, online course is $1,500, and the 4-day face-to-face program is $2,990. Flexible payment options, including Afterpay, are also available.

The online course is self-paced and takes approximately 1-8 weeks (depending on your experience level and the amount of time you can allocate to your study and assessments). If you choose the face-to-face course, you will complete this over 4 consecutive days at one of our training facilities.
The G7 - RIIWHS601E Establish and Maintain the WHS Management System course itself does not expire, as it is a nationally recognised unit of competency. Once you successfully complete it, you are issued a Statement of Attainment, which remains valid indefinitely.
However:
Some employers or mining sites may require refresher training or re-assessment every 2-5 years to ensure your knowledge is up to date with current legislation and site procedures.
