The Operate a Light Vehicle Refresher course is designed for people who have previously completed light vehicle training and want to keep their skills up-to-date and retain compliance on site.
You’ll learn how to:
Plan and prepare for light vehicle operations, including assessing work requirements and route conditions.
Identify potential hazards and environmental risks, and apply effective control measures
Respond appropriately to hazardous or emergency driving situations
Perform routine maintenance and inspection procedures to identify and report faults
Perform minor servicing, housekeeping, and maintenance tasks
Conduct pre-start inspections, start-up, park-up, and shutdown procedures safely

The following entry requirements apply to this course:
Previously completed a full Operate a Light Vehicle (RIIVEH201E) unit.
Basic computer skills and access to the internet.
Sufficient language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills to complete assessments, and;
A valid Unique Student Identifier (USI) - mandatory for all nationally recognised training. If you don't already have a USI, you can apply for one online at www.usi.gov.au or we can apply for one for you.
